I started this project out probably a year ago. I created a quick Skeletal and Muscular System in Zbrush, pulled it into 3dsMax and rendered it with V-Ray. After that it got "dusty."
Since starting it back up I've reworked all of the topology, UVs (setup UDIM) and sculpt. I then moved onto the tedious task of modeling an accurate Circulatory System and Nervous System. I have created a full circulatory system once before and learn my lesson about unwrapping tubey things...it's best to model with UVs in mind. Zspheres are excellent for this, but still time consuming. I just prefer spending my time on the modeling than with UVs.
Once my Zsphere systems are set up I clean up my PolyGroups and quickly unwrap by PolyGroup. Then I pull the model into 3dsMax and orientate/align/pack all of the UV islands.
Currently I'm working on the Ligaments and then onto the Lymphatic System.
